I did that once, sort of. A car ahead of me lost a wheel and the cop on scene decided to park in the oncoming lane, blocking the whole road. It was like 2:00 AM and I was barely 18, so even though I was allowed to be out, I knew he'd stop me to check my ID and stuff, and I just wanted to sleep. So yeah, I passed in the grass and then watched as the cop finally moved his car into the same lane as the disabled one.
